ARI BRATTKUS

Hailed by his mother as a “lazy moocher,” who is “still doing that music thing,” Ari Brattkus is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist of little to no acclaim.

Taking inspiration from Tom Waits, Nina Simone, and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Ari Brattkus somehow winds up writing irreverent folk songs filled with humor, wit, and one other positive adjective of your choice.

Ari’s debut EP, Songs For Millennial Mountain Men, is out now!

A graduate of USC Thornton’s Popular Music Program, Ari Brattkus also moonlights as a talented guitar player, adept at a wide variety of popular music styles with extensive live playing and studio experience. Having studied with the likes of Paul Jackson Jr., Steve Trovato, Tim Kobza, and Nick Stoubis, Ari Brattkus loves to play everything from Van Halen to Luther Vandross, Bob Dylan, and beyond. He particularly loves folk and bluegrass and plays Banjo, Mandolin, and Lap Steel as well.

Ari Brattkus has also studied songwriting with David Poe and Chris Sampson, and voice with Adriana Balic, making Ari a versatile musician who is ready to help you write, craft, arrange, record, and perform your next song.
